1)Humans share 50% of their DNA with bananas. It might be shocking but scientifically it's true.

2) The relation between your thumb and your nose is - the length of your thumb is equal to the length of your nose.

3) Snakes smell with their tongue.They have ears inside their heads.Some snakes can survive without the meal for up to two years. 

4) Baby Snakes kill 10,000 people every year. Snakes don’t have eyelids.



5) You are more similar to your siblings than you know. 
According to psychology, identical twins are 91% similar, fraternal twins are 78% similar and siblings brought up together are 50-80% similar, while siblings brought up in different places are 25% similar.

6) Elephants can smell water from about 12 miles away.
Humans subdue (tame, train) elephants like slaves, including immobilizing them and depriving them of food and water for up to three weeks. Rarely, an elephant will commit suicide, shutting off its own air supply by stepping on its trunk and refusing to budge.

7) A hippopotamus  can hold breathe for 4-5 minutes. Hippopotamuses give birth in water. They rest in water to keep their temperature down because they don’t have sweat glands.

8) Every 7 years your body completely replaces itself. 25,000,000 of your cells died while you read this sentence. It's okay though, your body made more than 300 billion new ones today. The cells that make up your body are dying and being replaced all the time. This happens so often that about every 7 years you have a completely new body of cells.
